Warum ist Ruby warf einen Segmentation fault nur auf meinem system, und nur in dieser Rails-Anwendung?
Ich bin mir nicht ganz sicher, wie man richtig Debuggen, aber haben versucht, ein paar verschiedene Ansätze, die gekaut, aber das problem nicht gelöst. Mindestens 4 andere Leute in meinem Büro kann diesen code ausführen, werden auf identischen Maschinen mit der gleichen version von ruby und rubygems installiert und kein Fehler.
Hier ist der code, den ich ausführen:

Ich bin immer ein "bus-error" auf dieser Linie:

Wenn ich den Kommentar, die Zeile bekomme ich eine "Segementation Fault" auf dieser Linie:

Bin ich natürlich mit der Open4-Bibliothek und ausführen eines externen Prozesses. Dieser externe Prozess funktioniert perfekt ausgeführt, wenn Sie direkt aus dem terminal, und auch wenn diese Ruby-code ausgeführt wird, außerhalb dieser besonderen Rails-Anwendung auch in eine andere, einfachere Rails-Anwendung.
Den Fehler zu reproduzieren, ich brauche nur auszuführen meinem speziellen test-Methode wie diese:
ruby test/unit/swf_generator_test.rb --name test_get_bytes

Ich ausgeführt, diesen code innerhalb von GDB und entdeckt, dass meine libxml und libxslt libraries waren beide nicht richtig installiert. Ich war in der Lage, beide diese Bibliotheken installiert und jetzt GDB nicht mehr sagt mir irgendetwas, dass ich sehen kann wie hilfreich. Hier ist die aktuelle Ausgabe von GDB:

Habe ich auch umgebaut/neu installiert, alle meine Edelsteine nach der Aktualisierung meines libxml und libxslt libraries. Ich habe dies ausgeführt:

Ok, habe ich behoben auf meinem Rechner. Ich bin mir nicht ganz sicher, warum, aber ein Downgrade des ruby-debug-gem version 0.10.0 löst das problem für mich.
Den spezifischen fix ist, die folgenden Befehle ausführen:

Es ist in der Regel verursacht durch einen Edelstein mit systemintern kompiliert bits, die das laden einer Bibliothek zusammengestellt, die für eine andere Architektur. (Klingt wie Sie habe auf diesem Weg bereits.)
Leider, dies umfasst auch die Bibliotheken, die zusammengestellt als universal binaries.
In meinem Fall das problem verursacht wurde, da Ruby war der laden die falsche version von OpenSSL. Das problem ist vielleicht ähnlich wie bei dir. Basierend auf den Antworten, es klingt wie ruby-debug das problem verursacht. Könnte es sein, die Verknüpfung an der falschen Bibliothek?

Wenn ich 'sudo gem uninstall ruby-debug', der test läuft und geht. Wenn ich dann "sudo gem install ruby-debug' wieder, der test wirft.
Bin ich mit einem Rails 2.1.1 Projekt auf Snow Leopard mit Ruby 1.8.7 (2009-06-12 patchlevel 174) [i686-darwin10.2.0] installiert.
Wiederaufbau der ruby-debug-gem für die 64-bit-ist nicht die Festsetzung der Problem für mich.
