Fatal error: Call to undefined method CI_Upload::do_multi_upload() codeigniter

Ich verlängert die CI_Upload Klasse und fügte hinzu, eine multi_upload-Funktion für Bilder. Das funktioniert lokal, aber auf dem server wirft:

Fatal error: Call to undefined method CI_Upload::do_multi_upload()

Es macht keinen Sinn, da ich versuchte verschiedene Lösungen, die ich gefunden habe mit Google kein Glück.
